The net looks great and is much lighter than I thought it would be, which is a great bonus. It appears to be very strong despite the light weight. I especially like how unique it looks compared to most of the modern, synthetic nets available these days.
I wanted a smaller net with a longer handle than I currently use. This beauty sure fit the bill and it's a functional art piece as well! Extremely light as well. Twelve inch handle work great. The first fish I landed with it was a frisky wild Spec in Tennessee. This net is a joy to own and use. I'd definitely do business with Hellbender again!

Just recieved my pocketwater net, and I am very pleased with both the asthetics, and build quality of it. If high tec factory goods are your thing look elseware. But if you like handmade unique, yet still very functional and practical things, these nets are for you.They also come in more sizes and lengths than any factory net out.there.
Love my net. It looks really unique and is well made. I had purchased a Hellbender net for a buddy as a gift and was kinda jealous of it. When my old net's handle came apart I pulled the trigger on my own. Friendly service and quality products for both purchases.
The model net I purchase was named Pocket Water and it is the perfect sized net for the streams I fish in the Easter Sierra mountains. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique shape and style of the net. It is also a beautiful net. Lightweight but sturdy. It was a pleasure fishing with this net. I will be ordering soon for several upcoming Christmas gifts for family and friends. Super product.

Cannot show my net ‘cos I’m in a different hemisphere! Got the net just before I left for Australia to visit family. Love the net and it feels well balanced (maybe less so with a big fish in it) and visually pleasing. When I get back I aim to put a 7lb carp in it.
